The Birds of Paradise Blue Ketubah is one of Mickie Caspi’s smaller ketubot (plural of ketubah – the Jewish wedding contract). An elegant blue border surrounds a delicate and whimsical vine of birds and flowers. Inside of this lovely illumination are the wedding vows, written by Mickie in classic calligraphy. Gold accents highlight the fanciful flowers, birds & border on this ketubah originally created with watercolors and printed in Israel.
Please note that the Birds of Paradise Blue Ketubah is not available with the Traditional Aramaic only (Orthodox) text. All of Mickie’s ketubot are limited edition lithographs and when a specific text sells out it is gone. We do not reprint since it would no longer be a limited edition. For the B- Traditional Aramaic with Contemporary English (Orthodox) text, the two witnesses sign in both Hebrew & English.
The Birds of Paradise Blue Ketubah is also available in an alternative yellow rather than blue color – Birds of Paradise Gold.
As with all of her Ketubot, Mickie offers a variety of texts ranging from Orthodox to secular. You can read the individual texts by clicking on the above link. You can also read through the texts at once at Mickie’s Read Ketubah Texts page. If you would like Mickie to create a Birds of Paradise Ketubah in any other color or with variations on the theme, then you can contact us via email or see some original ketubot at Mickie’s Etsy Shop or her Original Gallery.
Since the Birds of Paradise Blue Ketubah does not have any images or quotes specific to a wedding, it can be used to create other documents such as tribute gifts, special event mementos or honorariums.
